Packaging

Have been discussing with my sister about my final project and the packaging aspect of it all today. One idea was how to make it 'Limited-edition' and not just have a box that the user would simply throw away once they got the product home and out of the box. We want them to keep the box and use it.

(this in turn keeps the user reminded of the Brand, whilst also gives the packaging another purpose.)

I researched into the A
DIDAS packaging that they do for their clothing to make their products stand out to customers; below are some interesting results:

The Adidas Originals aZX project features a limited edition box by Jacques Chassaing and Markus Thaler, which i think is made out of plastic (good for mass production!) with a hinge lid and also a pull-out drawer that contains information on the product.

Then there is the adicolor Delux Box Set which include the original plain Adidas white shoes along with paints, brushes and a wooden palette so that the buyer may customise their own pair of shoes for a one-off result!

However, a wooden box isnt really that impressive to moi so luckily i have fallen upon this image fo another limited edition box made by Adidas for their 'Superstar 35th Anniversary'...god Adidas seem to be the only ones doing this sorta shit!
